Stroud Vintage and Craft Fair

This Saturday just gone we went along to the Vintage and Craft Fair in Stroud.  Organised and run by The Hels Belles Boutique, the fair was held in association with the James Hopkins Trust, right in the heart of Stroud.  The Subscription Rooms, where the event was held, boasted a great selection of stalls selling all sorts of vintage and handmade goods.

Live vintage inspired entertainment was on offer throughout the day on the main stage, including a 'family friendly' burlesque act from the lovely Vega la Vamp and the effortlessly stunning voice of Miss Cherry Bomb, amongst others.

Miss Cherry Bomb in full swing.

Here are just a few of my favourite stalls from Saturdays event.  I've provided links to their Facebook pages or websites if you'd like to find out more.
The lovely ladies from Chocolate Design with
a selection of their beautiful childrenswear.

Gorgeous hand crafted retro inspired accessories from Kiss Me Quick.
They even do personalised pieces to order!

Run Rabbit Retro do a fantastic range of vintage
as well as inspired and upcycled designs.

Of course, the highlight of the day for me had to be having a nice catch up with the wonderful Lady She, who was at the fair with her fabulous travelling beauty salon.  Lady She was the stylist behind the hair and makeup for the whole bridal party at my forties wedding (I'll come back to that in next weeks post!) so it's always lovely to have a nice chat with her when I get the chance.  Former owner of Sheunique (Cirencester), Lady She now has her own online vintage store, 'Muriel's Wardrobe'.

Having a catch up with the fabulous Lady She.
Thank you for stopping by, be sure to come back next week as I have something extra special in store!
